Nigerian Government Scholarship for Her Citizens Eligibility
A minimum of five (7) Distinctions (As and Bs) in the Senior Secondary School Certificates, WASSCE/WAEC (May/June) alone in the disciplines pertinent to their fields of study, including English Language and Mathematics, are required of applicants for undergraduate degree programs.
For non-African countries, certificates should not be older than two (2) years (2020 & 2021), and they should only be one (1) year (2020) old for African nations. The age range is between 17 and 20.
Each applicant for a postgraduate degree program must have a first degree with a 1st class or upper division of at least a 2nd class.
The N.Y.S.C. Programme must have been completed by all applicants, and the maximum age for Masters and Ph.D. programs is 35 and 40, respectively.
