Applicants must be graduate students at the University of Chicago who will be enrolled for the whole academic year.
The applicants are expected to bring to the International House community their distinct viewpoints and interests.
Fellows are expected to bring their unique perspectives and interests to the International House community and become actively engaged in the House’s multi-faceted life through the Graduate Commons Program, which offers a variety of activities for UChicago grads throughout the year. Programming entails:
Weekly public activities with an international theme through the Global Voices Performing Arts and Lecture Series
Tables of language and culture, possibilities for professional development, health and wellness activities, and social events
a variety of activities, the Global Mentorship Network, and a lot more
Evidence of leadership abilities, involvement in community and university organizations, extracurricular interests in areas such as performing arts, athletics, and cultural activities, participation in community service, and contributions to increasing diversity may all be considered in the selection process.
